And by the time you come we should have improved the old house smell and freshened up the walls a bit.

I gave the 2-dozen excessively large spiders hanging around a 12-hour notice. 

Hopefully they'll be gone tomorrow when I come back to clean, clean, clean.

Labor Day Weekend @ Camp Cougar

One weekend of camping wasn't enough. We were able to squeeze in one more with some friends from OM's school. 

Camp Cougar is in Cougar, WA near the base of Mt. St. Helens. 

It poured buckets on us on Saturday. 

Lots and lots and lots of buckets. 

But the clouds parted, we aired out our wet sleeping bags and tents and got back in the water. 

Defintely recommended…

2nd & 4th!!!

These two beautiful babies headed off to their first day of school today.

Yesterday we did our pre-first-day rituals…

We baked chocolate chip cookies for their teachers, the principal and the two awesome school secretaries.

And we made our wishes for the new school year…

Owen needed a new backpack so I bought him this one (made out of fleece)

And then personalized it…

And off they go to kick some 2nd and 4th grade booty!!!
