fortune (& misfortune) teller

We were driving to school recently and Owen asked me how you make a fortune. I went into a fairly lengthy explanation about how one could go about making a fortune, wondering why in the world a five year old would possibly care about such things.

Later I realized he was referring to his friend Nigel's fortune teller he had brought to school. Lucky for us Nigel's mama posted about how to make one.

We all attempted to go to school/work today but w/ the snow and bad forecast we turned around and came home and decided to try it out...

Owen plotting his fortunes...

If you click this photo I think you can see that one of the fortunes is "invisible". Bummer for that person...

but not as bad as falling into a hot lava pit...

or getting chased by Ogres...

Hmmm...what should the last one be
(He decided on money, there was also one with two people and a heart so the fortune is love)

I hope you make a fortune today...it's a lot of fun.

And what about Maya?
She had no interest in fortunes and was watching Cinderalla instead.
